“I first came to Principle Physiotherapy back in February 2021 with injured knee.
I am a runner and over the last lockdown I overtrained and noticeably increased by mileage, which resulted in painful knee and on top of that, my old injury (peroneal tendonitis) has returned.
At that time, when everything was fully locked down, Principle Physiotherapy was the only physio in my area offering face to face appointments. I called up immediately and I was offered my first appointment within days.
Within few months of weekly physiotherapy, my knee pain diminished, and my tendonitis was at manageable level. I found out very early on that with Principle Physiotherapy it was not just about treating the injury but more about teaching you how to manage it and how to progress your training without getting injured again.
After successfully completing my physio course in July, I decided to stay on and train with Dave once a month. With his help I have managed to increase my fitness level with specifically designed weight training to supplement my running.
I just run Brecon Beacons Trail Marathon without any pain at all and for that I thank Dave at Principle Physiotherapy.
