Our Patient Pathway
Our patient pathway is designed to provide you with a long-term solution for your health.
You may come to us following an injury, illness, a pain condition or following a surgical intervention. Initially, we would complete a comprehensive and specialised Physiotherapy Assessment to diagnose your condition, and establish where you are in your recovery. This will help guide your individually designed treatment programme, and help set goals which are personal to you.
Next, if required you would receive a course of physiotherapy treatment to reduce your symptoms, and speed up your recovery. We have the added benefit of utilising Unique Results private fitness studio, to help with your rehabilitation. Unlike, many other practises you will not spend the whole time on the couch in the treatment room, as we believe that your active involvement in your treatment will give you the long term and sustainable recovery you want.
As your condition improves, exercise rehabilitation will be the main focus in your programme. This will help improve your mobility, strength, flexibility and general fitness. You will become more confident and be able to trust your body again, allowing you to start reintroducing any hobbies and any sporting activities you were previously involved in. Your programme will become more and more specific to your goals, as you get closer to your full recovery.
Once you have reached your goals and are back to your normal function, you have the opportunity to continue working with us and begin a specialised personal training programme. This will be physiotherapy led, to ensure your previous condition is considered, while you safely train towards your new health and fitness related goals.
You will have the option of entering our pathway at any stage, allowing for your care to be centred around your requirements.
I do not believe that setbacks in your health and fitness should determine your future; therefore, our patient pathway has been designed to prevent this and to enable you to achieve your maximum potential.
